In order to ensure the conference is meeting the needs of women in technology, we strongly encourage involvement in the planning and execution process. You might attend monthly planning meetings where you can share ideas and experiences. Or, you could get more hands on in one of the subcommittees where you could do things such as recruit students to come to the conference, work on ways to enhance the conference experience, or serve as a liaison to local technology groups. By volunteering your time, you not only improve the conference, you expand your network, and get recognition for your support.
