Monica Haywood, Assistant Vice President in Information Technology at Fifth Third Bank responsible for organizing and delivering on key initiatives aligned with the strategic direction of the organization. She is a Technology Leader with over 10 years of service delivering monumental Fortune 500 relationship and project management solutions. Vast repertoire of technical knowledge with capability of disseminating the breadth of application and corporate vision throughout IT organizations.

Prior to joining Fifth Third Bank, she served in multiple leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, CitiBank, and NTT Data Consulting. She holds the following certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and CMMi (Capability Maturity Model Integration).

She is a respected authority over people, process, and technology while utilizing the best practices of tools, techniques, and methods to align end-user needs with long-term resolutions to complex IT challenges.

Monica has over 10 years’ experience as an Adjunct Professor, and is currently a Professor at Indiana Weslayan University, teaching a range of Project Management and Quality courses. Monica holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems. She is pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration in Management Information Systems.
In her spare time Monica enjoys spending time with her family, husband, and children. She is also a member of the Junior League of Louisville. Monica is also writing her first children’s book titled “Noey loves Nursing” inspired by her daughter Noelle.
