Bio

Tonya Quarles is a Regional Sales Director at Dell EMC Inc.  She is responsible for leading the Kentucky/Indiana Regional teams.  Her responsibilities include leading her team and providing expert knowledge of Dell EMC’s portfolio to Enterprise, Public, Higher Education & K-12 clients.  Tonya was Regional Sales Director of the half for 2018.  She previously won Account Executive of the year in 2016 and served on the Dell EMC’s President Council.  Tonya has won Tennessee’s “Manager of the Quarter” 3 of 6 quarters within the Mid-Market division, earning the most awards of any previous manager.  She has achieved many awards in numerous roles during her 17-year career.  People love to be around Tonya because of her magnetic personality and inspirational attitude.

Tonya’s greatest strengths include her creativity, drive and leadership. She enjoys challenges, particularly those that benefit the company and her customers. She played a pivotal role by providing a procurement contractual vehicle that enabled Dell’s ability to sell Client, Server, and Storage to the State of TN.  One of the big sales acquisitions consisted of a 450-unit Rugged Project with the Kentucky State Police Department. Tonya recommended Dell by offering test units, which resulted in a $3M sale; including accessories and extended warranties.

Tonya’s honors include two “Significant Achievement” awards, being recognized for influence of the change management process and for her assistance with launching Dell’s North America’s Small Business Division.  She also received the “Manager of the Quarter” award in Dell’s Consumer North America Business in 2009 for high sales performance.

Tonya is a member of WISE, a Women’s Professional Leadership group, and BRIDGE, a minority Leadership group.  She’s active in her community, supporting the Susan B Komen Race and the Meals on Wheels program.

Tonya holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and The University of Phoenix respectively. She lives in Nashville with her devoted husband and their two adorable children.
